At the old church site in Kållerstad, a wooden church built in the mid-18th century previously stood. Before this, the diocese’s only known medieval stave church occupied this spot. Among the objects in the churchyard are more than 20 wrought iron cemetery crosses, which lend a special character to the deserted churchyard. Towards the east is a monument where St. Sigfrid’s spring is located. The district’s first Christian is said to have been baptised there.
